All HauteWRAP product family members are high capacity wireless routers, wireless repeaters, and wireless bridges, which are optimized for IP video streaming. They are particularly well suited to mission critical IP video surveillance applications and have been rigorously tested with all leading Megapixel IP cameras, NVRs, and accessories.

HauteSpot Networks recognizes the needs of security installers and has focused on making the HauteWRAP family simple to install, configure and use, while maintaining detailed configuration options for advanced administrators. Our simple to use web interface allows you to configure a system in minutes, yet you can also access advanced features for fine tuning.

HauteWRAP routers use the TDMA-Like Wireless Protocol ("TLP"), which provides the best performance in point to multipoint network configurations. HauteWRAP is flexible enough to support standard IEEE 802.11 or mesh configurations as well. The HauteWRAP family makes excellent general-purpose wireless routers, even if your needs are not for IP video streaming.

Every HauteWRAP router can be ordered in a variety of frequencies, including all unlicensed frequencies (900MHz, 2.4GHz, or 5GHz), the Universal License System frequency (3.65GHz), as well as public safety (4.9GHz) and military/export frequencies (call for details).

The outdoor models come in a NEMA IP 6/7 weatherproof enclosures, which is rugged, attractive, and easy to install. Indoor models come in attractive black metal enclosures. All models use Female N type RF connectors and support Passive Power Over Ethernet at 11 to 27VDC, making them ideal for battery/solar/wind/vehicle powered applications.

The Surreal World of Military Trade Shows
by Bob Ehlers
4.19.2012

DSAOver the last 4 days I was an exhibitor at the Defense Services Asia show in Kuala Lumpur. The show was a great success for us and our local partner XV Asia Technology with lots of interest from real customers with real money to spend on all of our products.

But I have to admit that the show itself was somewhat surreal. It was like a department store of weapons, armor, vehicles, and all manner of other stuff that goes boom. I met generals, admirals, deputy ministers, police chiefs and all manner of other senior military officials. After a while it became almost mundane to see a flag officer walk by with an entourage of aides and assistants. Rather than drone on (yes, there were lots of UAVs there too) about the show, I thought it might be more interesting to see some of the items that were being sold.
